SVGC was delighted to attend the prestigious Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC) Industry Fair, held at the Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC) within the Defence Academy in Shrivenham.
This year’s event placed an increased emphasis on engagement across the defence industrial base, reflecting the focus on SMEs in both the Strategic Defence Review and the Defence and Security Industrial Strategy. The fair brought together a highly diverse and capable audience, including senior British military officers preparing for key Defence roles, MOD civil servants, and international officers representing more than 40 nations.
Throughout the day, SVGC had the opportunity to speak with many ACSC students—discussing the operational realities facing industry, exploring shared challenges, and identifying emerging areas where close collaboration will be essential. We also showcased SVGC’s specialised Systems and Digital Engineering services, tailored to the needs of Defence and government clients.
Beyond the exhibition stands, the event served as a valuable forum for strengthening relationships across the defence sector. The open dialogue and mutual exchange reinforced the importance of building trust between the MOD and its industrial partners.
SVGC looks forward to continuing to support this community and deepening the partnerships that shape the future of UK Defence.
