DPRTE 2025

SVGC was delighted to exhibit at DPRTE 2025, the UK’s leading defence procurement and supply chain event. Held over two productive days, the event offered an outstanding platform for engagement, insight, and innovation. In collaboration with our partners at OpenText, we proudly showcased our joint expertise in Requirements Engineering and highlighted how the Dimensions RM toolset is helping to transform the landscape of defence procurement.

Throughout the event, the SVGC team held over 80 direct conversations at the stand, with at least another 40 informal engagements across the venue. We connected with representatives from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), DE&S, Defence Digital, Front Line Commands (FLCs), STRATCOM, UK SPACE COMMAND, as well as major defence primes and suppliers, all of whom were keen to explore how Dimensions RM is driving better, more agile Requirements Management across complex defence programmes.

Originally developed for the aerospace sector, Dimensions RM is now recognised as the MOD’s de facto requirements management toolset for future systems procurement. This marks a significant step forward in how the MOD manages highly complex, multi-layered projects—incorporating support [DLOD] requirements and enabling better traceability, collaboration, and lifecycle oversight.

Reflecting on the event, SVGC Managing Director Andrew Dixon shared:

“Well, DPRTE is over for another year—but that’s just the beginning. We had more than 120 valuable conversations across the two days, attended around 15 presentations, and came away with a surprising amount of new insight. We reconnected with familiar faces and established promising new relationships. These things aren’t a success by chance—there’s careful planning and a huge amount of effort involved, and I’m incredibly proud of the team.”

The event was also a great opportunity to engage with the wider defence community, gather feedback, and contribute to important conversations around the future of defence procurement. It’s clear that the appetite for transformation is strong and SVGC is ready to support that change.

To everyone who visited our stand or connected with us at DPRTE we want to thank you and look forward to continuing the conversations.
