SVGC receives a re-confirmation of our continued ISO27001 certification again

by | Nov 3, 2023

SVGC initially achieved ISO27001 certification back in 2021, with re-confirmation in February 2023, and we’re delighted to report we have once again received a re-confirmation of our continued certification.

What is ISO270001?

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard to manage information security.

It details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Organisations that hold an ISO27001 certificate must demonstrate they protect their information in a systematic and cost-effective way.

Why is this important?

The aim of ISO 27001 certification is to help organisations make the information assets they hold more secure and avoid potentially costly security breaches.

ISO 270001’s best practice approach helps organisations manage their information security by addressing people, processes and technology.

As an ISO 27001-certified organisation SVGC is able to assure customers, partners and shareholders that our information security standards are the highest they can be and that we can be trusted with important data. It means we are able to continue operating at the highest standard, delivering innovative projects and solutions to the public sector.
