Khusbu

At SVGC we’re proud to be a small business formed of experienced, highly qualified people operating on a national platform.

With a strong background in delivering structured, data-driven solutions, Khushbu focuses on turning complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes. She is known for her organised approach, collaborative working style, and commitment to delivering meaningful improvements for clients.

What are your ‘must haves’ to start the working day?

Coffee and a solid to-do list are essential for me. A good coffee helps me ease into the day and get focused, while a clear, prioritised to-do list sets the direction for everything that follows. I like to map out key tasks early so I can approach the day with structure and momentum, rather than reacting to things as they come up.

What’s your proudest work achievement to date?

My proudest work achievement was supporting an HMRC client, where I worked with a colleague to design and build Power BI resource dashboards for the resourcing team. The goal was to improve visibility of resource allocation and reduce reliance on manual reporting. By bringing key data into a clear, user-friendly format, the dashboards enabled quicker decision-making and significantly improved efficiency. It was especially rewarding to see the dashboards adopted in day-to-day operations and to know our work delivered tangible time savings and value for the client.

What do you love most about what you do?

I really enjoy seeing a problem statement evolve into actionable results. Taking something complex or unclear and turning it into a structured plan that delivers real outcomes for the client is incredibly rewarding. Seeing those results come to life—and knowing the client is satisfied—gives me a strong sense of achievement. I also really value working as part of a team, collaborating to solve problems and getting things done collectively.

What does your typical working day look like?

My typical day starts with reviewing my to-do list and priorities, making sure I’m clear on what needs to be achieved. From there, it usually involves a mix of focused individual work, team collaboration, and client-related tasks. I spend time progressing key deliverables, checking in with colleagues, and adapting to any new priorities that come up. I try to stay organised and proactive throughout the day, while keeping communication clear so everything moves forward efficiently.

When you hit a wall workwise, what do you do to help overcome the hurdle?

When I hit a wall, I take a step back and reassess the problem from a different angle. That might mean breaking the task down into smaller parts, revisiting the original objective, or prioritising what’s most important. If needed, I’ll also reach out to colleagues to get a fresh perspective—often a quick discussion can unlock a new way forward. Taking a short break can also help reset my thinking so I can come back with more clarity and focus.
